Ben is a grounding force within the Apnea Survival crew. Quietly powerful, deeply intuitive, and unwavering in his connection to nature and the human spirit. He embodies the element of Earth in every step and breath, reminding those around him that we don’t need to search far to reconnect, we simply need to return to what’s already within us.
Whether guiding someone through resistance or sitting in silence himself, Ben brings a rare depth of presence. He reads energy without words, holds space without needing to fill it, and reminds others that calm is not a place we visit—it’s a way of being. For Ben, nature is not just a setting, it’s a collaborator, a teacher, and a portal back to self.
Ben’s own breakthrough came not in a moment of triumph, but in the quiet reckoning of burnout. Instead of pushing through, he turned inward, finding solace and clarity in breath holds, under the water in silence, and the Apnea Survival philosophy. This stillness he met below the surface mirrored the stillness he was seeking above it, providing a reset that became his new rhythm for life. One he now shares with others through simple, powerful tools that restore nervous system regulation, clarity, and resilience.
A former professional MMA fighter, Ironman triathlete, and ocean swimmer, Ben knows all about exploring the edges of physicality. Yet, his most profound work lies in the rewilding of the human spirit through breath, movement, barefoot hikes under the Aussie sun, and the joy of simply being.
For Ben, being your own dolphin means returning to your natural state. Playful, wise, and deeply in tune with your own current. “You don’t need to fight the flow. You are the flow.”
To recharge his lifeforce, you’ll find Ben breathing slowly in silence, flowing through rotational movement training with a rope in hand, or walking barefoot through the forest trails of his Gold Coast backyard, where presence, simplicity, and sunlight remain his daily medicine.
